Troubleshooting - If your pattern produces a smaller than expected hat, in 100% of the cases it is the printer settings. The wrong setting will cause the pattern to be about 1" smaller in head circumference.  We are in the process of replacing the size box on the pattern page to a longer line that would be more noticeable in this event that the page setting is not at "Actual" for printing. The "fit to page" setting produces a pattern that will be 95% of the actual size we designed which is not noticeable with the 1 cm or 1 inch box but will be 1" of reduction across the width of the pieces once assembled. Please check your printer settings before printing out the file that is the pattern pieces. Please make sure you are setting the page to print "Actual" size.  Thank you!

IMPORTANT - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PRINTER IS SET TO "ACTUAL" IN PRINTER SETTINGS FOR THE CORRECT RESULTS FOR BOTH PAPER SIZES AND FOR ALL OUR PATTERNS. PRINTING IN 'FIT' SETTING WILL CAUSE YOUR PIECES TO PRINT TOO SMALL. (Click on the picture of the printer settings to enlarge for easier viewing)
